The GARANT Long Centre Drill (Type A) is expertly ground from solid stock and relief-ground to ensure high accuracy and long tool life. Constructed from HSS-E (Cobalt-alloyed High-Speed Steel), these tools are ideal for creating precise 60° center holes, essential for accurate turning and cylindrical grinding operations.
These tools feature a uniform 80 mm overall length. When working in steel (< 900 N/mm²), apply feed rates of 0.02 mm/rev (for 2 mm Ø) or 0.03 mm/rev (for 3 mm Ø) to maintain accuracy.
