Welding Flux – High-Performance SAW Flux for Structural and Pressure Applications
ANTECH JL-SJ101 is an agglomerated fluoride-basic submerged arc welding (SAW) flux designed for high-performance welding of structural and pressure-grade steels. With a basicity index of 1.8 and a grain size of 10–60 mesh, this flux ensures stable arc characteristics, excellent slag removal, and superior weld bead appearance. It is compatible with both AC and DC power sources, with the electrode connected to the positive pole when using DC.

- Low Hydrogen Content: The deposited metal exhibits low diffusible hydrogen content (<5ml/100g), enhancing resistance to cold and heat cracking.
- Excellent Mechanical Properties: When paired with appropriate wires like EM12K or EH14, it delivers high tensile strength (up to 660 MPa) and good impact toughness.
- Versatile Applications: Suitable for welding low-carbon and low-alloy steels in industries such as shipbuilding, boiler manufacturing, pipeline construction, and pressure vessel fabrication.
Usage Guidelines
Pre-Weld Preparation
Ensure the welding area is free from rust, oil, and moisture.
Flux Drying
Bake the flux at 300–350°C for 2 hours before use to eliminate moisture.
Welding Parameters
Suitable for twin-wire, tandem, multi-wire SAW, and two-run techniques.
